Reader’s Edyn

I always felt like I could do something more than just read. Finally, I have found both a creative outlet and a chance to do something meaningful with my reading. This blog was created in appreciation of and tribute to all of the authors who have brought me joy through their books. These reviews are my way of giving back to authors and providing recognition for the hard work that each one completes every day!

Sinful Sirens Giveaway Hop

Sinful Sirens Giveaway Hop

I apologize for the late post everyone. A few things happened that were beyond my control, so I didn’t get a chance to post like I had originally intended. The good news is that you still have plenty of time to participate! For this hop, I decided to giveaway three books ~ 2 winners.

**BOOK !**
**Prisoner of My Desire**
 By Johanna Lindsey

I chose this book because it holds a special place in my heart. This book was not only my very first romance, and historical romance, but my very first Johanna Lindsey. It holds a lot of firsts for me. The premise of the story is phenomenal and unlike any I have read since. The short of it is that Warrick, a knight, is mistaken as a common man. He is kidnapped for his looks in order to carry out a heinous plan that Rowena’s step-brother hatches. Rowena is, of course, coerced into participating with her mother’s life threatened constantly. After a bit of time Warrick escapes and takes full revenge on Rowena, unaware that she had no choice in what she did to him. An eye for an eye as it were. But ultimately Warrick finds him self well and truly caught by the vixen and struggles with how exactly to handle her. But once the truth of their original meeting is revealed, will too much damage have been done to try and make amends? (** Book is used and still in fair condition.)

Here is the official blurb:

It is a dark time for Rowena Belleme. The striking and spirited lady must produce an heir, for failure to do so will incur the dangerous wrath of a ruthless stepbrother who stands to forfeit his ill-gotten wealth. But in all of England there is only one man whom Rowena would have sire her child.

His name is Warrick deChaville, a magnificent knight who possesses the strength, intelligence, and courage -- as well as the extraordinary good looks -- that Rowena would have passed on to her son. But Warrick is proud and stubborn, and he will be no man's -- or woman's -- pawn. The lady must take drastic action and so she has the noble warrior taken prisoner, intending to force him to bend to her amorous will.

**BOOK 2**
**Deliciously Sinful**
By Lilli Feisty

I have not yet read this book, but somehow ended up with two of them. The title alone screams siren, so I thought it would be a nice addition to the giveaway. (**Book is brand new, unread.) Here is the blurb:

Things are cooking in the kitchen...and the bedroom.

Restaurant owner Phoebe Mayle thought she had it all under control. Sure, her new chef has a bad-boy reputation - and a chiseled body to match - but she's positive she can whip him into shape.

But from the moment Nick Avalon roars into town in his Hummer, he makes her whole world sizzle. Now Phoebe has lost control of her kitchen, and Nick has taken over her mind and her body. His insatiable appetite for pleasure leaves her breathless with carnal cravings only he can satisfy. Yet can their hunger for each other be a recipe for a love that lasts?

**BOOK  3**
**Sweet  Liar**
By Jude Deveraux

I chose this book because it was such a surprise! It started out hot, then became somewhat depressing and I nearly stopped reading it. Then a completely unexpected turn of events mingled with something almost paranormal to create a fabulous addition to the Deveraux Taggert series. I really think it is one of the best of her contemporaries thought I always prefer the historicals. So I thought someone else should have the chance to experience this book as well. Yes? (**This book is used and in fair condition. Pictured cover is not the same as the actual book.)

Here is the official blurb:

It was her father's dying wish that Samantha Elliot search for her grandmother, who'd disappeared from Louisville when she was a baby. So here she was, in big, dirty New York City...her parents were dead, her divorce was final, and she was all alone....

Michael Taggert was Samantha's landlord, and he was easily the most beautiful man she'd ever seen. He was charming, too -- his zest for life was so contagious that in his presence Sam bloomed like a flower after the rain. Yet Mike could only get so far with her -- when he tried to get closer, it was like running into a brick wall.

But Mike wouldn't give up. As they probed her grandmother's past, he was slowly uncovering the joy and affection Samantha had buried long ago -- and leading them closer to the dangerous truth about a bloody spring night in 1928, and a seductive blues singer named Maxie....

So there you have it. Two winners. One winner will choose two books of their choice and the second winner will receive the remaining book. Open to US and Canada ONLY. Sorry guys. The shipping is too much to send internationally. But I always try to have eBook giveaways to include my international peeps, so keep your eyes peeled. *nods*

    2. Hi Andieleah! I saw that comment and I appreciate the time you took to leave it. :) Prisoner Of My Desire is fantastic! I love Lindsey so it would hard to be able to call it the best one. Her Malory series is phenomenal as well. But as the first read by her, it will always have a special place. I hope you get the chance to experience it. You won't be disappointed! 1. Hi Juana ~ Ironically. all of your authors with sinful sirens are authors I have yet to read, but have had in the TBR list for some time. Do you have any books or series that you recommend to start with? And I am so glad that you liked one of the books I have offered enough to add it to your TBR list. That makes me feel good. :) Good luck to you in the contest!

    1. Hi Tina ~ Thanks so much for stopping by! I have Ms. Showalter on my TBR list, but again, have not had a chance to read her work. Although I am beyond intrigued by those LOTU men! *nods* I read a book last year about a Kaia, though she form the world of the fae and was the MC in RADIANT DESIRE by Inara Scott. That would have been a fabulous book to giveaway as well. Thanks for reminding me of it! Best of luck to you in the contest.
